The Bible says that, in heaven, the redeemed will have "new bodies." Driving around running errands the other day, it occurred to me that the Bible does not say "human" bodies. This gave me pause. Is it possible I could be rewarded for my faith with the body of a red-butt baboon? Or a snipe? Maybe not even a mammal. Perhaps I will become a squid, or even a turkey vulture. I have not lost any sleep over this question as I revert to the "assume" position that I will be in human shape. And trust in God.
