Odysseus Tyrone

We have a rescue dog, a pit bull mix. That means his mama was a purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and his daddy was a handsome stranger, perhaps a Great Dane, or a kangaroo. He has a beautiful pit head, and astonishingly long legs. He weighs upwards of seventy pounds. He looks like he was designed by a committee. His coat, what they call a "lavender brindle," is gorgeous. When we pray together in the mornings, he jumps up on the love seat and positions himself stretched out across our shoulders, falls asleep, and snores. He is a spiritual boy. He is intelligent, playful, loves children, and cuddles every chance he gets. Just the right size for a lapdog. He is a good boy and a therapeutic creature. I wish everyone had a dog like Odie. That is all.
